Original Late Victorian / Early Edwardian Cast Iron Combination Fireplace with Floral Tiled Panels
This original late Victorian / early Edwardian cast iron combination fireplace has a well-proportioned design with restrained decorative detailing. The decorative canopy, scrolling frieze and fluted centre panel are complemented by attractive floral tiled panels, giving the fireplace a clean, balanced appearance.
It retains a clay fireback, grate, simple fret, damper and ashpan cover. The rear of the casting is marked with Registered Design No. 233058, a nice surviving detail that helps date the original design to the late Victorian period.

This fireplace has been carefully restored, preserving the crisp detail of the original casting while maintaining its character.
