Original Edwardian Solid Mahogany Fireplace Surround
This is an original Edwardian solid mahogany fireplace surround, dating from around 1900–1910, with rich colour, deep grain and strong architectural proportions.
The surround has a broad moulded outer frame, panelled frieze and central oval detail, with a useful display shelf supported by small decorative brackets. Its clean, balanced Edwardian lines make it suitable for a period interior, restoration project or a more contemporary room where a substantial wooden fireplace surround is required.
Restored in our Dorset workshop, this is a quality solid mahogany surround with an elegant period appearance and a deep, warm finish.
