1920s Narrow Tiled Cast Iron Fireplace with Bolection Surround
This is a narrow 1920s tiled cast iron fireplace with deep red glazed tiles and a painted bolection-style surround.
Its compact 92.5 cm overall width makes it a strong choice for smaller rooms, cottages or chimney breasts where a standard fireplace may be too wide. The red tiled side panels, decorative cast iron insert and continuous moulded surround give the fireplace clear early 20th-century character while keeping the overall outline neat and architectural.
Restored in our Dorset workshop, the fireplace is supplied complete with its fret, grate, clay fireback, cast iron fireback and ashpan cover.
